I met Bon and Rex for lunch at Meiji Shrine today. It was REALLY hot. But the shrine grounds are filled with trees, so it was relatively cool walking from Harajuku station to the shrine. Near the souvenir shop there was a restaurant called 'Yoyogi.' I ordered 'oyako ju,' which was pretty tasty. The other guys had cold udon noodles. On such a hot day, cold noodles really make more sense, but having a hot rice dish can make you feel cool in a different way. In hot weather, do you prefer hot meals or cold meals?
